MORE ABOUT STEEL GOBOS
- The majority of GOBOLAND metal gobos are etched on 0.2mm (0.008”) stainless steel, versus 0.125mm (0.005”) used commonly by other gobo manufacturers.
- This includes sizes such as A, B & E used in standard ‘profile’ lanterns. The use of thicker steel offers improved heat resistance and greater durability within a high temperature lantern. Only in circumstances where the design is too complicated for 0.2mm will the gobos be etched on 0.15mm (0.006”) stainless steel in order to retain the integrity of the design.
- GOBOLAND's Steel gobos are designed with notches spaced around the edge to include a top notch allowing for easy rotational adjustment in all profile lantern gobo holders.
- Any size of gobo can be manufactured.
